Breed Info

Bichon Poo

The Bichon Poo, a delightful mix of the Bichon Frise and Poodle, brings together the best of both breeds in a small, loving package. Originating as a companion dog, this charming breed has a long history of being a beloved family pet, and they thrive on human interaction and affection. Their friendly nature makes them an ideal addition to households with young children, as well as with other pets like cats and dogs, ensuring they fit seamlessly into diverse family dynamics.

With a moderate level of energy, Bichon Poos enjoy playful activities but are also quite content to snuggle on the couch after a romp in the yard. Their apartment-friendly disposition means they adapt well to smaller living spaces, making them perfect for urban dwellers. While they benefit from regular playtime and walks, their exercise needs can easily be met with daily play sessions and short outings.

When it comes to grooming, Bichon Poos have a meticulous coat that requires weekly maintenance to keep it looking its best, but their lower shedding levels make them suitable for those who prefer a cleaner home environment. Highly trainable and intelligent, these pups respond well to positive reinforcement, making training an enjoyable experience for both owner and pet. If you are looking for a dog that is affectionate, friendly, and adaptable, the Bichon Poo might just be the perfect furry friend for your family. If you happen to be in Petland Lake St. Louis & Fenton, MO, come meet these wonderful companions and see if they are the right fit for you.
